Fawn is a young dragon who crash-landed in our yard.  Nearly
6 feet long, she's impressive when she flexes her wings.  Completely
wired and filled with cotton batting and polyester fiberfill, she consists of various suedes
and other fabrics, wooden claws and
teeth, feather eyelashes and taxidermy glass eyes.

For the Summer of 2004, Fawn was loose in the Stratford Public Library in Stratford, Ontario!

FlyingFawn.jpg (47438 bytes)Fawncloseup.jpg (29347 bytes) The year's Summer Reading Program was entitled "Fire Up Your Imagination: Dragons, Quests and Books"  and I was honored to be invited to display Fawn in the 100+ year old Library.  So Fawn was flying about for the months of June through early September, along with other beautiful dragons in various mediums on loan to the Library.
